This weekend I was lucky enough to photograph a Dayton Art Institute wedding in Dayton, Ohio for Stacey and Adam. I first met Stacey when she was a bridesmaid for Arielle’s wedding at the Glidden House in Cleveland that I photographed. I was super excited to get the call and opportunity to photograph Stacey and Adam’s big day!
This wedding was absolutely stunning from start to finish. The Dayton Art Institute has a beautiful venue and amazing staff that is extremely helpful and kind. From there, Sherwood Florists did an absolutely incredible job with the florals for the venue. You can take a look at their beautiful work below.
Stacey and Adam absolutely killed their portrait part of the day! I can’t wait to update my portfolio with more images. But for now, feel free to check out some of my favorites below! After portraits, the ceremony went off smoothly and we were off to the reception.
If you are new to the blog, I’ll go ahead and let you know that the reception dance floor is my favorite part of a wedding day to photograph. My couples, and their friends and families, tend to tear up the dance floor. Stacey, Adam and their loved ones definitely didn’t disappoint. To learn more about how I shoot weddings and the total experience, you can view my process here.
All in all, this wedding was incredibly fun. I hope to be back soon to photograph another Dayton Art Institute wedding in this beautiful space. There was an incredible origami art exhibit going on in the museum while I visited. I won’t say whether or not we got to shoot in the basement in this beautiful exhibit, but I will say the photos turned out amazing. Unfortunately, those photos are for Stacey and Adam’s eyes only! Enjoy the rest of Stacey and Adam’s day in the wedding photos below!
