What’s interesting in this Trinity Wall Street wedding, in regards to me at least, is that Matt called me the day before. The call went something like “Hi, I’m getting married tomorrow morning and was wondering if you’re available.” I don’t know what most wedding photographers do on their Tuesday mornings, but my schedule was wide open. I was very excited to document Matthew and Oksana’s marriage in lower Manhattan.
The couple is having a fun celebration / wedding in a few weeks overseas with their closest family and friends. They; last minute, decided that they wanted to have their legal marriage documented as well. I’m so thankful that they reached out to me to spend the morning with them.
The wedding took place at Trinity Church Wall Street which is an absolutely beautiful church located in lower Manhattan. The main ceremony location is currently under renovation. Instead, the couple got the opportunity to experience an intimate ceremony in the All Saints Chapel. After their ceremony, we took a couple quick portraits outside. I even was able to sneak in a creative silhouette photo on my way out the door.
The moral of this story? Make sure to answer your phone on a Monday morning! Thank you so much for having me document your wedding ceremony Matthew and Oksana! I hope you have such a great time in Italy!
