River Center Des Moines Wedding | Jenna + Mike

Jenna and Mike traveled back home to get married in front of friends and family at the beautiful River Center Des Moines. The River Center can be decorated in several different manners to match the aesthetic of your wedding day. Jenna and Mike’s day was a very classic aesthetic and Olive and Pine helped to execute the perfect decor throughout the venue, including a nice seating area on the second level of the space.

We were able to keep the photo portion of the day low stress by taking photos on site post ceremony. Jenna, Mike and I found some great backdrops for photos right outside of the venue space which kept their time away from their guests to a minimum! After portraits of the couple, we headed back into the venue and enjoyed cocktail hour followed by the reception. This crew danced their faces off! If you’ve followed my work for a while, you know that I absolutely love photographing couples and their guests on the dance floor, it’s always so fun and colorful with the DJ lights and uplighting for background!
