I had an awesome time this weekend acting as a Naperville Wedding Photographer for Samantha and Jono’s wedding!
The back story of this wedding story is pretty amazing. If you’ll check out one of my recent instagram posts, there’s a fun caption that describe how Samantha and Jono’s wedding started, well at least in my eyes how it started. Fast forward a few years later and here I am, acting as their Naperville Wedding Photographer.

Going into the day, I knew it was going to be great. I’ve been friends with both Sam and Jono for at least 5 years and we all actually lived together for about 3 years. On top of that, Jono’s dad is a talented photographer himself, and he was gracious enough to help capture the wedding day as well!

We started off with getting ready photos at the house and then headed to St. Peter and Paul Church for the ceremony while riding on an awesome trolley! We headed to Elements at Water Street  where the reception would be held after the ceremony. We took photos around downtown Naperville including an awesome covered bridge. I used a video light for some of the portraits. Setting the white balance for this light turns the sky really blue, which creates an awesome and dramatic portrait.

After portraits, we headed inside for the reception. The speeches were great. The dinner was great. And boy oh boy, the dance floor was great.
