Monica and Matthew’s Harvest Preserve Iowa City wedding day was a perfect day! The weather made for great photos and Monica and Matthew and an amazing color palette that made editing these photos such a blast! Monica got ready in this adorable lake house which had beautiful window light peaking in. Her first look with her bridesmaids was absolutely adorable!

Right after that, Monica and Matt had their first look. The trails and woods made for perfect backdrops for photos which meant we didn’t have to leave the property at all, which made for a relaxing day for the couple. One of my favorite photos ever came from the wedding party photos. Monica and Matthew popped a bottle of champagne and sprayed it in my direction. Capturing the perfect moment between the spray and everyone’s reaction made for an epic and fun wedding party photo!

Shortly after the wedding party photos, the wedding ceremony started. The light was perfect during the ceremony; thus, more beautiful photos. After the ceremony, Monica and Matthew had a tent ready for the reception party. We had great food, great speeches and an awesome dance floor to celebrate the newlyweds!
