This wedding at the Foundry Long Island City was one of my absolute favorites. The venue is absolutely incredible. The venue has several areas that you can reserve which include the ground floor, mezzanine, courtyard, terrace, greenhouse, albra room and pool room! The ceremony space has a beautiful backdrop. The brick building is covered by ivy and also gives a unique look to your wedding photos. I love that the venue is somewhat of a blank canvas. A couple can come into the space and really transform it into whatever they’d like while also enjoying the natural beauty of the space.
For Katie and David’s wedding, we started the day off with a first look downtown and took bridal party photos around the city. We found some quiet streets that were both beautiful and easy to navigate. We were sure to also find a great area to showcase the NYC skyline. Thankfully, the weather cooperated and made for beautiful photos.
