What I love about photographing weddings at Glen Oaks Country Club:
Glen Oaks is a beautiful, upscale country club on the west side of Des Moines. The grounds are well kept, making portrait time with couples beautiful no matter where we head. The reception space in the clubhouse is updated and has a clean aesthetic. There are many spaces to photograph inside including the bar/library and the iconic spiral staircase in the front of the clubhouse.

Outdoors
If you’re looking for beautiful greens and blue skies in your wedding photos, a country club like Glen Oaks is a perfect option. Glen Oaks offers golf carts for us to explore the ground for photos. In addition to beautiful nature photos, photographing with the country club in the background of photos is just as awesome!
Indoors
The spiral staircase at Glen Oaks is one of my favorite interior spaces to photograph at, it’s so incredibly visually interesting! The Royal Oak Room is a bar space that can function as your cocktail hour space. The wood bookshelves and walls make this space warm absolutely great for classic portraits. The Churchill Ballroom has a light, clean aesthetic and can be totally transformed based on your choices with table settings, and florals!
