The Bridge
Tucked in the woods a bit, the bridge at Country Lane Lodge is perfect for a quiet and private first look. It’s also a great area to take couple portraits and wedding party portraits if the sun is too harsh, providing nice shade and balanced light for perfect portraits.
The Lawn
On a partly cloudy day and especially at sunset, the large lawn at Country Lane Lodge is absolutely perfect for photos. There’s a nice treeline that spans the entire lawn. During sunset, the sun will dip below the trees and create stunning light for intimate and warm portraits.
The Venue
Country Lane Lodge has a great wood aesthetic that really allows for couples to pop off of when taking photos. In addition to the bridge, I really love doing first looks with the venue in the background of the photos. The venue can block harsh light and create a great separation between the subjects and background, bringing your attention right to the couple.
