The day began with the girls getting ready at the AC Hotel in Des Moines. They helped each other get ready a bit before heading to the lobby for the first look. After the first look, we made our way to the Iowa State Capitol to take a few gorgeous portraits with both the capitol and the Des Moines skyline as backdrops.

The weather was perfect that day. We took more photos at the Art Center itself, and the couple looked absolutely gorgeous with the modern architecture as their backdrop.
