There’s something special about photographing an engagement session, capturing the love and excitement of a couple as they prepare for their upcoming wedding. And that’s exactly what I experienced during the engagement session of Kendall and Matt in Davenport, Iowa.

We started the session at Armored Gardens, a popular bar in Davenport that the couple frequents. It was the perfect setting for some casual and fun photos. The couple was comfortable and relaxed, and it showed in the pictures. We captured some great shots of them laughing, enjoying drinks, and just being themselves.

After a quick outfit change, Kendall and Matt put on more formal attire, and we headed to Hotel Blackhawk, the site of their upcoming wedding. The hotel’s elegant and classic décor provided a stunning backdrop for the couple’s photos. We captured some beautiful shots of them in the grand ballroom.

We then made our way to Duck City, a restaurant in downtown Davenport, where they had reserved a private room upstairs. The dim lighting and intimate setting provided the perfect ambiance for some romantic and intimate shots. Kendall and Matt were naturals in front of the camera, and their love for each other translated beautifully!

Throughout the session, Kendall and Matt were easy-going, fun, and just a pleasure to be around. They clearly have a deep connection and a love that radiates through the photos. It was an honor to capture these special moments for them, and I can’t wait to see them tie the knot at Hotel Blackhawk!
