So I’m writing this post on August 3rd, 2017 and I’m pretty sure it’s been almost a year exactly since I’ve blogged. Pardon the rust. I am SO excited to launch my new site and I’m even MORE excited to launch my new site with THIS blog post. Bianca and Ryan’s Islandwood wedding was absolutely incredible. These two originally found me when they wanted to incorporate Cleveland in their wedding process.

We naturally engagement photos in the land (Ryan is from Cleveland)! After chatting further, we decided it would be awesome if I came to Washington to document their wedding as well. And by “we” decided, I mean I probably begged them… hopefully you can see why after seeing the beauty of Bainbridge Island in these photos!

Aside from the picture-perfect scenery all weekend long, I got to spend time with all of Ryan and Bianca’s closest friends and family in a real way. We basically were in a summer camp type setting with cabins, s’mores and all! Everyone was so great and made me feel so welcome!

I can’t thank the staff at Islandwood enough, they were absolutely amazing. They drove me around in a golf cart location scouting. They moved my dinner from spot to spot as I was in the hustle and bustle of the reception. Their service was absolutely insane and I cannot thank them enough. The same goes for Amy at Anticipate Weddings. As a planner, she crushed it from start to finish. She was always three steps ahead of everyone, which made for a perfect day. Seriously, thank you all so much. All the help directly correlates to the photography experience.
